Part homage, part reworking, part transformation of Joyce Weiland’s 1969 film, Reason Over Passion / La Raison Avant La Passion, Raison Aver Passion is about the pursuit of unity through the collapsing of place and language. The book features a series of video stills from a trip across the country and language lessons. All text is written in an imaginary language called Canadiean.
